New Healthcare Clinic Opens in Tri-Cities for Northwest Sheet Metal Workers
New Healthcare Clinic Opens in Tri-Cities for Northwest Sheet Metal Workers — Spokane Location Coming Soon
SMART Local 55 is proud to announce the opening of a new Coalition Health Center in Kennewick, WA, made possible through the commitment and forward-thinking leadership of the Northwest Sheet Metal Workers Healthcare Trust. This clinic stands as a testament to our union’s dedication to ensuring that members and their families have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.
Located at 6816 W. Rio Grande Avenue, Suite A in Kennewick, the clinic officially opened its doors on June 4, 2025. It provides comprehensive primary care services exclusively for members and dependents covered under the Northwest Sheet Metal Workers Healthcare Trust health plan. This includes preventive care, chronic condition management, acute care needs, onsite laboratory services, and even a medication dispensary, often at no or very low out-of-pocket cost.
This new benefit was made possible by the Trust’s partnership with Pacific Health Coalition and Marathon Health, who together have brought a proven care model to our membership. Marathon Health operates over 720 health centers nationwide, emphasizing personalized care that delivers measurable results, helps manage rising healthcare costs, and ensures our members receive timely, quality medical attention.
And the good news doesn’t stop here. Local 55 is excited to share that plans are already underway to open a similar clinic in Spokane in the near future, further expanding access to affordable, union-backed healthcare across our jurisdiction.
For our Tri-Cities members, appointments are already being scheduled by calling 509-236-0649. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with early morning and evening appointments available to accommodate busy schedules. Members can also look forward to convenient online scheduling coming soon.
This is just one more way that the Northwest Sheet Metal Workers Healthcare Trust is working to keep our union families healthy, strong, and protected. Stay tuned for more details on the Spokane clinic opening as we continue to invest in the well-being of our members across the region.
