The Washington State paid sick leave law was approved by Washington State voters in 2016. Initiative 1433 amended Chapter 49.46 RCW, the Minimum Wage Act, and went into effect on January 1, 2018. The impacts of the Paid Sick Leave law (RCW 49.46.200 to .210), along with L&l's impleroenting regulations (WAC 296-128-600 to -760) interpreting the new statutory sections of the Minimum Wage Act, supersede any conflicting terms in the CBA between SMART #55 and Inland NW SMACNA/lndependent Contractors.
