SMART Local 55 – General Election Endorsements

Strike Training Dates
Smart Local 55 will be holding picket training starting August 5th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Spokane Hall. Remember to call the Union Hall to sign up for Picket Training! We want to make sure we have enough pizza for all attendees.
Strike Authorization Vote
On Saturday, July 20th 2024, SMART Local 55 membership came together in solidarity for a strike authorization vote!
Election Day – April 11, 2024
Per the NWRC By-Laws Article 4 Section 2, this shall serve as official notice for an April 11th, 2024, Northwest Regional Council Local 55 Executive Committee nomination petition and election. Please view the details and polling locations below.

Included below is the SMART NWRC nomination form for the election being held at SMART Local 55. Original Nominating petitions with sufficient eligible signatures must be submitted to the Financial Secretary-Treasurer, Russell Brown, and be received by the FST no later than 4:30 pm on March 8, 2024, at the Council Office address. Electronic or copied signatures will not be accepted.
