Nomination Form for Northwest Regional Council Positions – Local 55 ECM
Included below is the SMART NWRC nomination form for the election being held at SMART Local 55. Original Nominating petitions with sufficient eligible signatures must be submitted to the Financial Secretary-Treasurer, Russell Brown, and be received by the FST no later than 4:30 pm on March 8, 2024, at the Council Office address. JR Finley, Local 55 business representative in Boise, ID, played a pivotal role in negotiating the first project labor agreement in Idaho in over 40 years for the Micron megaproject in Boise, ID.
Apprenticeship Volunteers
Recently SMART Local 55 Sheet Metal apprentices have been partnering with Pasco Fire Department, to help out some local community members by making their homes more accessible.
Second Harvest Donation
Local 55 members have once again demonstrated their steadfast commitment to aiding those in need, this time focusing on the victims of the Oregon and Gray Rd. fires. Their generous donation of $599 to Second Harvest, a vital organization supporting families in distress, speaks volumes about the solidarity and compassion defining Local 55.
